On Monday, August 8th, I received a call from my sister-in-law saying, “Now Madi, I don’t want you to worry, everything is okay. I asked, “What happened?” “On Saturday, (August 6) she said, your brother fell off the roof and was taken by ambulance to the hospital. He has sustained an injury to his C5 vertebrae which can cause paralysis. The doctors examined him and did a CAT Scan as well as an MRI. They have determined that he has not suffered paralysis, which is a miracle, but he is in severe pain and will have to wear a neck brace for a couple of months.” “Exactly how did that happen, I asked?” She continued, “Your brother and I were working up on the roof when the ladder gave way. I yelled to him, ‘We’re going!’ At that point, we both were in the midst of the fall. Your brother fell to the ground and as I was falling, I felt someone or something push me out of the way of being struck by the falling ladder and I fell onto the second roof. I yelled to your nephew who witnessed the entire accident unfolding from his room, ‘Call 911.’ Three minutes later the EMTs arrived along with the Fire Department.” I listened and then said, “I have to see my brother, I want to see my brother to see if he is okay. I’ll be on vacation next week and will plan to see him then. As far as someone or something that had pushed you out of the way, I know it was the hand of God who pushed you out of the way and I believe that because just the day before on Friday August 5th I PLEAD THE BLOOD OF JESUS OVER YOU AND MY BROTHER AND ASKED GOD TO BUILD A PROTECTIVE HEDGE AROUND THE FAMILY that it was by God’s miracle-working power that prevented my brother from being paralyzed and that it was the hand of God that pushed you out of the way so you had not sustained any life-threatening injuries. Now, do you believe?”
